Inspection Intervals for Fire Safety Equipment

The operational readiness of fire safety equipment must be inspected at least once a year, unless the manufacturer, approved design documentation, or a fire hazard assessment specifies shorter intervals (Section 8(7) of the Fire Prevention Decree). Operational inspections must be performed on all installed fire safety equipment, i.e., including those installed beyond the requirements of applicable regulations and which voluntarily enhance the level of fire safety at a specific facility.
