Preventive Fire Inspection

It is necessary to conduct regular inspections related to fire safety. By law, these inspections are carried out in the form of preventive fire inspections.

What is the purpose of preventive fire inspections?

The purpose is to assess the current condition. During preventive fire inspections, documentation regarding compliance with fire safety regulations is reviewed, the status of fire safety measures is assessed, and adherence to fire safety requirements is verified. If any defects are identified during the inspection, they must be corrected.

Preventive fire inspections: According to the regulation, inspections must be conducted at regular intervals, as follows:

  • For buildings and facilities where activities with a high fire risk are carried out, preventive fire inspections are conducted at least once every 3 months
  • For buildings and facilities where activities with an increased fire hazard are carried out, preventive fire inspections must be conducted at least once every 6 months
  • For buildings and facilities where activities without an increased fire hazard are carried out, preventive fire inspections must be conducted at least once a year
